paint correction ? why the need ? think of it like this .. imagine you buy a brand new phone and you have a beautiful background picture , you lock the phone and every time you open the screen you see this beautiful image.
now take a wire brush / scrubbing brush and swirl and scratch your screen, you can still see the image but not as clear as it once was . ( all hypothetical)
